IQNA – The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned the Zionist regime’s resumption of aggression on the Gaza Strip, calling for international action to stop the Israeli crimes.

Death toll soared past 400 as Israel launched massive airstrikes across Gaza on March 18, 2025

In a statement, the MWL Secretary General Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Issa described the Israeli regime’s brutal moves a clear violation of all international laws.

He stressed the need for the international community’s immediate measures to put an end to Israeli massacres against Gaza’s civilians and civilian infrastructures.

Grand Mufti of Egypt Sheikh Nazir Mohamed Ayad also condemned the Israeli atrocities, saying that showed the true colors of the Zionist occupiers and presented the picture of the Israeli regime’s organized terrorism targeting a defenseless nation.

He warned that the continuation of these crimes not only undermines international security and peace but also weakens any efforts for peace and stability in the region.

The Egyptian Mufti also called on human rights and humanitarian organizations to take practical steps to compel the Israelis to immediately cease their attacks and be held accountable for their repeated crimes against humanity.

Israel resumed its intensified deadly aggression against the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, despite a standing ceasefire agreement that took effect in January with the aim of ending more than 15 months of a war of genocide against the coastal sliver by Tel Aviv.

According to Palestinian health officials, 424 people were killed in the attacks on Tuesday alone, including 174 children and 89 women. More than 600 others were wounded as Israeli forces targeted homes, mosques, and shelters.

The bombardments have exacerbated an already dire humanitarian crisis, with medical supplies running out and border crossings remaining closed for the 17th consecutive day.
